ObamaCare Doubles The Number Of Jobs

ObamaMath (hat tip to Ron Russell of TOTUS for the graphic below):

Is America moving ever closer to becoming a part time nation?

According to this article in Forbes:
...For every new FT job added to the economy [so far in 2013], there were 4.3 PT jobs added! In most (non-negative) years, the ratio is the reverse: that is, there are typically 5 FT jobs added for every new PT job. Even in 2004—the year with the second-highest ratio during this time-frame–there were 2 FT jobs for every PT job, yielding a ratio of 0.5. Even if growth in PT vs. FT workers reverted to its historic pattern for the balance of 2013, the year’s average monthly ratio still would be four times as large as the 2nd highest ratio from 2004....
Furthermore: Of 953,000 Jobs Created In 2013, 77%, Or 731,000 Are Part-Time.

On the other hand, perhaps ObamaCare will double the number of full-time employees in America: 21 federal agencies working to implement Obamacare.

  1. The middle class is getting the hell kicjed out of them and ObamaCare is adding to their woes in a big way.

    1. Jim,
Have you read Animal Farm lately? The parallels between that allegory and today's oligarchy are astounding.

  2. Obamacare was sold to the public with a series of Big Lies. They were repeated endlessly, and for the most part, they were not challenged by the media. Here is an excellent reminder of the bold lies... Rational people know that government does not do things efficiently, inexpensively, or well. No thinking person would believe that adding over 100 new government bureaucracies to the provision of health care would decrease costs or improve quality. Just look at the economics of Medicare and Medicaid. Universal health care is an economic black hole of major proportions.
As for Jobs. The 162,000 jobs the economy added in July were a disappointment. The quality of the jobs was even worse. A disproportionate number of the added jobs were part-time or low-paying — or both. Part-time work accounted for more than 65 percent of the positions employers added in July. Low-paying retailers, restaurants and bars supplied more than half July's job gain.
Unemployment among American Hispanics climbed to 9.4 percent in July, up from 9.1 percent in May.. Hows that for Hope and Change mis amigos?
Democrats are liars and liars lie. Most of us learn this very early in life. But our Democrat friends across the aisle say that the term "illegal immigrant" dehumanizes and criminalizes people who are denied the opportunity to obtain authorization. Perhapes they’d prefer the word "wetback"?
This August morning while many Americans are preparing to back to work or to school, the Obama clan is on vacation blissfully basking in the sun on Martha’s Vineyard. Yes, it’s that time of year agaińfor this incompetent, sanctimonious Marxist to spit in our faces while they spend the taxpayers hard earned money. Hanging out with Hollywood celebrities, partying with Rappers and Basketball players. Ah, it’s great to be King.

    1. Mista,
The complicit Enemedia will not challenge Obama. EVER!

Meanwhile, Emperor Obama is living it up. Surreal.

And that kind of "boom" makes an ineffectual driver for our national economy.

  3. Oh and by the way, Mr. Free Thinke as you are called by Ms. Shaw, how about telling her how you really feel about those filthy bunch of Progressive lying crackheads.
And stop beating around the proverbial bush. That might prove to be refreshing to us over here (for a change)

    1. Ma belle,
As I said on another thread here at this blog site, FT is free to visit whatever blogs he wishes -- for whatever reasons he wishes.

  4. You remember that then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, sometime after she said we had to pass ObamaCare "to find out what's in it" also said that the new law would create "400,000 new jobs almost immediately."

Maybe poor silly Nancy was confused and the card she was reading from actually said ObamaCare would KILL 400,000 jobs almost immediately.

It's not just ObamaCare that is a jobs killer. Every Obama policiy seems to be directed at putting the boot on the throat of private sector job creation. The delay in approving the Keystone pipeline, the war on coal and fracking are examples of that job killing policy in the energy sector. But business regulations impacting other sectors have exploded as well with the consequence that fewer jobs are created.

And as usual, all of this impacts the poor and the middle class (the folks Obama says he is here to help) most of all.

    1. Mike,
At the rate Obama's domestic policies are proceeding, the middle class will soon be a thing of the past. You realize, of course, that there may be no recovery from such a loss -- at least for a very, very long time.

Furthermore, I don't see the GOP applying the brakes in a significant way.

  5. "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan." - Barack Obama LIAR IN CHIEF!
So in essence ObamaCare is a disaster. PS he lied about Benghazi, the IRS, fast and furious,
Support for ObamaCare among moderate Democrats has plunged, not to mention the insurrection among the unions. Only the far left is still riding this train wreck.
And by the way, Gitmo is still open.

    Yeah, "Navigators" and IRS Goons!

  7. [Harry] Reid says Obamacare just a step toward eventual single-payer system:

In just about seven weeks, people will be able to start buying Obamacare-approved insurance plans through the new health care exchanges.

But already, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is predicting those plans, and the whole system of distributing them, will eventually be moot....

  8. Only a complete moron would support letting the government control their own health care. Additionally, what right does gov. have forcing taxpayers to subsidize 30 million uninsured?

  9. The only thing that might be positive is that we might get the senate in 2014 if the GOP can get it together.

  10. I actually don’t think we’re serious about wanting to change “politics” as usual in this fading Republic. If we were serious, we would spend far less time debating government, and more time considering platforms suitable for deep space travel; preferably, something capable of accommodating 600 yammering nabobs.

  12. That damage from Obamacare is already starting. It will become more of a disaster as each segment goes active. You can be sure many doctors will retire.

My hubby was talking about when he had his own private practice (he has done strictly ER for many years now), he would not charge many people for a visit because he knew they could not afford it. He would provide medication to many who could not afford to buy it. He has the right as a physician running his own business to do so. That will not be the case any more.

  14. Did it ever occur to you that these businesses are totally anti America and need to be boycotted. Think people, think. YOU need this health care plan.....or at least your grand mother or your kids do. Wake up.

  15. A nation of part time workers opens the door for a lot of free time. That free time, lack of income, and personal frustration will lead to destabilization.

We will look like the continent from which our POTUS sprang forth? Yeah! Who wants to live in Africa?
