I had a crush on Mary Tyler Moore in the fifties. She was pretty and she was funny.

In all my years of teaching, I've launched two times, that is, actually lost my temper. Both of those young men straightened right up -- and stayed that way for as long as they were in my classes.
Anger -- like obscene language -- can be very effective, but only if used judiciously and sparingly. ;-)

By the way are you aware that the second video down from the top is a dud? Every time I've tried to play it a sign pops up saying "This Video Does Not Exist"

ReplyDeleteIf you get the chance to see Pioneering women of television on PBS it has a segment on MTM. Also, a good program overall.
