Obama Moving Quickly On His Agenda

Two recent items from the Washington Times:

1. Gun ban back on Obama’s agenda:
That didn't take long. Less than a day after President Obama's re-election, the administration breathed new life into the United Nations' previously comatose treaty regulating guns.

Last July, the U.N. General Assembly began formal discussion of the Arms Trade Treaty, which seeks to establish "common international standards for the import, export and transfer of conventional arms." Talks on the controversial agreement were put on indefinite hiatus after the United States requested an extension to the time allotted to negotiate the agreement. Gun rights supporters blasted the treaty as it inched toward approval, and many suspected U.S. procedural maneuvers were intended to delay the treaty so it wouldn't become a topic of discussion during the election. It appears these suspicions were correct since "indefinite" turned out to mean until hours after Mr. Obama was re-elected....

2. Keystone pipeline pushed to forefront:
With a second term now in hand, President Obama no longer can delay a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline and must either side with environmentalists within his party or greenlight a major step toward North American energy independence.

The pipeline decision could be an early sign for the direction of Mr. Obama's green agenda for the next four years, after a campaign in which he sparred with Republican opponent Mitt Romney over the pipeline and on issues such as subsidies for alternative energy companies, the future of the coal industry, and drilling policy on federal lands and along the nation's coasts.

Green-energy and environmental groups said Wednesday [November 7, 2012] that they were buoyed by the president's re-election and that they think it will kick off another chapter for clean energy in America. Mr. Obama's previous attempt to tackle carbon emissions, the ill-fated and unpopular "cap-and-trade bill," died in the Democrat-dominated Congress during Mr. Obama's first two years in office, but many of the president's supporters see his re-election as an opportunity to resurrect it....

We frequently hear that we will see a President's real agenda in that President's second term because he no longer has to consider tempering his policies so as to get re-elected.

The above two items are just the beginning of the Obama Agenda.  In his 2012 victory speech, he uttered, "The best is yet to come."

We're about to discover what he means by the best, and the meaning will become clear with great alacrity!

  1. Didn't Obama broadcast that he'd have "more flexibility" after his election?

The hits are going to start coming even more fast and furious... No pun intended.

  2. "Once Americans see the fruits of the far left agenda, the Democrat party will be toast next election!"

That's what I thought four years ago...

  3. Let's see:

    1. Gun loon alarmist. Useful for a laugh.

    2. The pipeline has been under construction in Texas for several months. President Corporate Pimp is jiggy with it.

Nothing to see here folks, move along.

  4. I'm so WEARY -- weary beyond description. Let the God-damned commies HAVE the friggin' place, if they want it so God-damned bad. My skull has been crushed with the the weight of too God-damned much propaganda from all these God-damned negative extremists.

  5. As for the so called election this month. What a hoax. Furthermore, there was and is enough information out to prove that Obama is a pro-Islamic Marxist and that he would only greatly harm America. In spite of this many people in this country couln't or wouldn't see the truth about his guy. That is just how dangerous he is to this country.

  6. The destruction of our economy (Keystone aside) will happen rapidly. The debt time bomb is ticking away and for some reason Obama and the progressives want it to go off sooner rather then later. Why? What is their plan for after the debt bomb explosion?

  7. Makes me sick at heart and sick to my stomach.

  8. Water Fowl to busy with his head under water to notice his left dismantling the Second Amendment a small piece at a time.

  9. AOL,

Add the United Nations 'Agenda 21' to the list of things to do nationwide for this communist-in-chief.

If any are as yet unaware of this program, by all means look it up. Of course it all sounds like flowers and ice cream but in actuality, when implemented, is all about complete control over people and their movement.

The term "movement" is key, being the government will be the only authority to determine whether YOU stay where YOU are or where YOU should be moved.

  10. Obama is moving all right -- moving his bowels -- and dumping copious loads of of his own special brand of chocolate ice cream all over the country.

    YUMMY! -- NOT!

  11. "many people in this country couln't or wouldn't see the truth about his guy"

Yes, and therein lies the most ominous danger to this country. If after four years of this fraud, a preponderance of the electorate still supports his agenda of destruction,when/how, if ever, will we recover?

  12. My Agenda moves a lot faster since I had it given a tune up and the bearings greased. Switching to a better grade of gas helped a lot too.

You see that dark-colored dot disappearing down the country road? That's the horse that escaped from your barn, it wants to go play, and mate with the mare, not pull your plow, and it probably won't be back. That horse doesn't want to work anymore, it wants to live life free, and maybe it's best to let the worthless nag go.

It can't live long without man's help and will soon end up getting shot for raiding some farmer's wife's garden, if it doesn't starve to death first, which is likely.

Instead of looking for a new horse, maybe you should start shopping for a tractor?

  13. We will see in two years if we have a chance of stopping the juggernaut. By that time it should be hellish living in America.

  14. No need to waste time AOW, he's got a "mandate" from American voters (well, not really, if you deduct the people who voted for the goodies they will get, if you deduct the people who voted twice, who voted illegally, and if you actually allowed the military TO vote).

  15. He's going to move fast because he has the support of the liberals. I don't think the GOP has what it takes to reign him in.

I just pray God will have mercy on those of us who fought so hard to keep him from being re-elected. It's not our fault! We tried. But we cannot give up.

  19. This aganda of course is a Marxist pro-Islamic aganda. This this very wicked indeed. That so many people were so blind to the this guy is really like and his real intentions that they even voted for is both sad and tragic for America. They may very well find out that the made a great mistake they made in voting in who how he will harm this country. The thing is that by then it will be to late.
