Oligarchy In Action

Over 1168 waivers of meeting the requirements of ObamaCare have been granted so far, over half of those waivers to unions, and the waivers now cover over 3,000,000 workers.

Maybe you're one of the lucky ones.

I'm not.

Gateway Pundit has more information.

Definition of oligarchy:
Oligarchy (from Greek ὀλιγαρχία, oligarkhía) is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, corporate, or military control. The word oligarchy is from the Greek words "ὀλίγος" (olígos), "a few" and the verb "ἄρχω" (archo), "to rule, to govern, to command".

  1. Like the ancient Romans the oligarchy is becoming entrenched. One when the people look beyond bread and circus, can we end it.

  2. From Right Klik, posted yesterday:

In the 2700 pages of ObamaCare there are six pages that are devoted to something called "accountable care organizations." Somewhere in the bowels of the offices that house our wonderful Department of Health and Human Services we find a team of rule writers who were assigned the responsibility of writing the rules and regulations governing these six pages of ObamaCare. Tomorrow the work of these bureaucrats will see the light of day when HHS releases these rules. Would anybody care to guess just how many pages these rules will fill in the Federal Register? Try 1000. Yup, you got it! Six pages of ObamaCare are being transformed into 1000 new rules and regulations that will have to be followed by hospitals and doctors who formed networks for the delivery of patient care.

At that rate, we can expect ObamaCare to generate 450,000 pages of regulations.

We can also expect health insurance to become more expensive. So much for Obama's promise that ObamaCare would keep down the costs.

  3. It is almost as I would have imagined an old King's court would have been. The aristocracy had different rules than the peasantry.

  4. If these waivers were not granted low wage workers would either have their costs raised or lose coverage in many cases. Seems reasonable to grant them for the moment.

Problem is going to come in 2014 when the state exchanges are scheduled to be operating and then low wage workers will get it stuck to them at last.

  5. Only CERTAIN low wage earners are getting the waivers. These waivers are not based on income but rather on to which group the low wage earners belong.

  6. Oh, and I wouldn't be too sure that the waivers are only for low wage earners, either.

So reality catches up? Oh wait and 2014 just happens to be after the election....things that make you go hmmm..

As usual Duck you are wrong. These are bail out payments to already wealthy companies who no doubt are part of the billion dollar war chest being put together by the Obama Regime Team and payouts to help keep State Pension funds solvent for a little while longer to head off another Wisconsin style debate before the election..

Duck you and your liberal friends are being played like base fiddles.....
