"Spring spheres"? How ludicrous!
That idiotic terminology "spring spheres" is along the same lines as "winter trees" (instead of Christmas trees). I actually know a school principal who insisted that the trees on the hall bulletin board during the month of December be called "winter trees."
The most ridiculous thing I've heard in awhile.
ReplyDelete"Spring spheres?" Really? Give me a friggin' break.
Amazing isn't it, how anything related to Christianity, the true religion of peace, terrifies the pc-scum so much. I wonder if their nightmares involve Christ saving them, oh the horror!
ReplyDeleteUm... I just lost IQ.

ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to list here other idiotic euphemisms you have encountered.
Thanks for re-posting and the link!
ReplyDeleteAs to an example of a idiotic euphemism:
Islam / "Religion of peace"
Considering Christmas Trees are evergreens and thus are not remotely seasonal, your principal is a moron.
ReplyDeleteHmm, as far as other euphemisms, my favorite would of course be, "the religion of peace".
Just when one thinks it cannnot get any more absurd... it does!~
ReplyDeleteAOW, I cannot off of the top of my head think of a more stupid euphemism than 'spring sphere.' Gads!
ReplyDeleteIPAD is the accrnym for the new commission thwill function as the Death Panel
ReplyDeleteThat is the most stupid thing I ever heard of AOW! Spiritual growth? Is that a "Spiritual spheres too?" OMG! PUKE!
ReplyDeletethis is just the beginning girl..sigh.......Have a great weekend my friend!:)
ReplyDeleteAww, Silverfiddle beat me to it.
ReplyDeleteThey're ovoid.
"Hey, look, kids! Spring spheres!"
ReplyDelete"Yay, Easter eggs!"
Lol.
Oh, and I guess the school doesn't know anything about geometry. Last time I checked, eggs were ovoid/ellipsoids. But I see we already have a few geometricians here. Haha.
Spring spheres - a worthy addition to the Liberal's Lexicon.
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought I had heard it all. Unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteWell, I recognized the voice of the interviewer, so this would be in Western Washington (Seattle), where socialism is god. Sad, but true.
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening to our country, when our traditions are being destroyed by the "Feel Good, Don't Offend" crowd? What a shame. When will we wake up, and dispose of "Political Correctness", because it destroying us as a nation.
ReplyDeleteOld Rose
I have some very expensive "spring spheres" from Victoria's Secret, if you know what I mean. wink
ReplyDeleteOn the most basic level, linguistic fluency is foundational for all other learning. I suppose the children in this school will never progress to reading Goethe, Plato, etc. Dullards.... that is the teachers, of course.

Tammy,
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that Faust and The Republic will never be read by most teachers and students these days.
Funny that you should mention the classics. As you were typing in your comment, I was trying to come up with a list of 10 must-read classics for this year's homeschool yearbook. Only 10! I had a terrible time limiting my answers to a mere 10!
Old Rose,
ReplyDeleteAll this political correctness is such madness!
If we don't get a grip and reject political correctness, we won't have much of a civilization in just a few years.
People simply must grasp the concept that they don't have a RIGHT not to be offended.
the level of stupidity from the left is astounding.
ReplyDeleteand yes these folks are teaching our people. No wonder most of them are barely literate and lacking in anything resembling critical thinking skills while they praise themselves for their "knowledge".
