Liar-In-Chief

Hat tip to Z:

Another video below the fold:

At one point, the parody above, "President Barack Obama's First Ad of 2012," had garnered more views than Obama's official 2012 campaign-launch video. Heh.

  1. I see that the liar-in-chief has now used the following words regarding last night's budget agreement:

beginning to live within our means

How ironic! Those words from Mr. Big Spender POTUS.

  2. I also note his using appeal to the people and appeal to emotion (from the same source as my comment above):

In wrapping up his brief remarks, Obama spoke of a letter he recently received from the mother of an eighth grade student in Colorado who was concerned his upcoming trip to Washington would be canceled because of a shutdown. With a deal in place, Obama said he hoped the students would now "get a chance to look up at the Washington monument and feel the sense of pride and possibility that defines America, a land of many that has always found a way to move forward as one."

Oh, puhleeze. How sappy can his words get?

  5. Jackie,
Fox News this morning hasn't told the details as far as I've heard. I'm going to hunt around online for some specifics.

  6. I think one reasons libs are so unbalanced is because of the cognitive dissonance supporting this man causes them. His lies are obvious, and with each new one, a greater effort of the mind is required to justify it away.

  7. In his book "The Audacity of Hope" (page 261), Hussein Obama wrote:

"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality....and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

His upbringing and his performance to date would suggest that this comment is the only time he has not lied.

  8. OT-

AOW, do you read McCain's blog? You should comment there some. You might get him or Smitty to call in your show sometime after you get to know them. That would be a great catch.

  9. The lies are obvious yet the MSM and a large part of the public ignore the lies. What does that say about our society?

  10. "let me be clear, every word out of my mouth is a lie..."

    heh

  11. I love what you wrote. "Liar-in-chief!" Truly fitting, truly. The notion that this moron actually believes that Americans will believe him is scary.

  12. I am getting to the point of assuming the opposite of anything Obama says is actually truth.

    Gah.

  14. Pagan Temple,
I visit The Other McCain but rarely comment there.

I'll plan on visiting and commenting more often. Thanks for the tip!

  15. From what I read there is some good stuff in this compromise which is big change because usually Republicans give everything and get nothing.

This notio that we should be pleased because it is the biggest cut in history is nonsense. We have had a run up in spending greater than half the World economies combined and now we expect the world to come up with 1.7 trillion dollars per year to fund our government....

It is time we get serious we need to be cutting 10 times as much as we just did.

  16. The sad thing is there 44% of Americans who still think this guy is going a good job...

  18. More blather from Obama:

"I just miss - I miss being anonymous," he said at the meeting in the White House. "I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I can't take a walk."

He says he enjoys golf but is not the fanatic that some have portrayed.

"It's the only excuse I have to get outside for four hours at a stretch," he said.

His impossible dream: "I just want to go through Central Park (in New York) and watch folks passing by ... spend the day watching people. I miss that."

  19. I'm reminded of the Nixon joke: When Pres. Nixon visited the Yakima reservation here in Washington, he gave a speech making many promises of better treatment for the tribes, and with each pause the natives shouted OOMPAH, OOMPAH. Afterward, the chief was showing him around and as they were about to enter the horse corral, the chief warned him "Be careful, Mr. President. Don't step in the oompah".
