I took this quick photo of this morning's sky as it looked across the street from my back porch:

The sunrise was pinker than the camera shows, and the entire D.C. region was bathed in a soft-rose glow.

Today would have been Dad's 105th birthday.

Dad in his early 20's.  He remained a confirmed bachelor until age 39.  Then Mom snagged him!

I miss you, Dad.
