    1. Not surprised that the article leads with the photo of a solar power array.

Didn't read anything troubling in the article.
Sounds more like oil company agitprop.

  2. Great post. Obama has made it clear he wants even more land owned by the government via the so called Monuments Act. He has that pen, and can add millions of acres. And he will, our little Marxist.

  3. This has been a real eye-opener for me and for many other people too I'm guessing.

  4. Is there an issue with how the land is managed?

Why is the fact that it is federally owned necessarily important?

In Bundy's case he would have to pay nearly eight fold to graze on private land.
For those of you who eat beef I assume you'd appreciate the higher price.

    1. Set an example for us, Canardo, and donate everything YOU own to the Federal Government, and then lease it back from them at ever-escalatung rates.

I'm sure your social conscience will feel wholly purified, and the quality of your sleep will improve dramatically.

Go ahead! BANKRUPT yourself for the good of the State.

Better a beggar in the gutters of a Socialist Workers Paradise than a rich man in a depraved Capitalistic Plutocracy, n'est-ce-pas?

  5. Excellent point, AOW. Likewise, America has millions of acres of "wolderness" that 99.99% of Americans will never be able to enjoy because Congress from the Eastern U.S. thought it was a greeat idea. It didn't cost their constituents anything.

  6. With Obama at the helm, we can be sure more people will be losing their land. This is what the majority of people wanted, a lovely socialist in command. Let's how the feel when it is their land that will be taken by the BLM.

  7. Meanwhile, something might be afoot with the interstate highways: White House opens door to tolls on interstate highways, removing long-standing prohibition:

With pressure mounting to avert a transportation funding crisis this summer, the Obama administration Tuesday opened the door for states to collect tolls on interstate highways to raise revenue for roadway repairs.

The proposal, contained in a four-year, $302 billion White House transportation bill, would reverse a long-standing federal prohibition on most interstate tolling.

Though some older segments of the network — notably the Pennsylvania and New Jersey turnpikes and Interstate 95 in Maryland and Interstate 495 in Virginia — are toll roads, most of the 46,876-mile system has been toll-free....

  8. I'm glad I read the last paragraph before commenting. At first, all I could think was then "Why did I have to pay $43.00 in tolls the other day to take U.S. Route 95 from Washington D.C. to New Hampshire?" Whoops, my bad., $3.00 of that was on Rt 293 in New Hampshire--which is also federal.

That's right. I'm glad even a moronic wingnut like you is beginning to understand the seriousness of our purpose. We WILL bury you. You can bank on it.
