  1. Regarding Common Core: the Dept of Education should be abolished.

I don't know if you caught the conversation on Mike's Place. Both of us are very familiar with Federal employment.

There is absolutely no way something of this magnitude was done by low level employees.

  3. I think ultimately it is the IRS that will do the most damage because few people like that organization and the press, concerned by what happened to the AP, might actually do something (like their job) for once.

  4. Beak,
Yes, I saw the discussion you mentioned -- the discussion at Mike's America. I agree with both you and Mike.

I read today that a 5th "rogue" agent was arrested at the IRS Cincinnati office; also something in this latest information doesn't tally with the timeline given in testimony before Congress yesterday.

  5. Average American,
My apologies! I accidentally deleted your comment!

    Here it is....

    AVERAGE AMERICAN SAID:

"However, these two programs only yielded 2,308 permanent jobs — meaning the cost to taxpayers was $11.25 million per job."

Hell of a bargain!!! Look what just ONE job has cost us since obummer took over OUR White House!!!

Again, AA, I apologize. It was the uh oh nanosecond. Sheesh.

  6. The Cincinatti office handles ALL 501c applications...

Perhaps the government shouldn't centralize functions by tax specialty... but should distribute the functions to all the major IRS tax processing centers to prevent future abuses.

Capt Hindsight here... my job is DONE!

  7. Speaking of Venezuela, toilet paper isn't the only thing they've run out of... Civil Rights seem to be in short supply as well.

  8. Department of Education isn't the only one that needs to be dismantled.

  9. That article does not indicate any arrest, AOW. In fact there have been NO arrests.

Asking questions regarding their activities of a group applying for tax exempt status IS NOT A CRIME.

I expect Faux Snooze is going to try to create a scandal out of every group that has been questioned.

There's something to be investigated here and it will be completely botched if the fringe right tries to run with it.

  10. Duck,
Let us remember that arrests were a long time coming during the Watergate scandal.

  11. Joe,
Perhaps the government shouldn't centralize functions by tax specialty... but should distribute the functions to all the major IRS tax processing centers to prevent future abuses.

It's harder to control the processing with such distribution. I'm not using the word control in a positive sense.

  13. The Communist Duck forgets that Nixon was well aware which groups were
funded by the Soviet Union. These scandals are far more serious then Watergate, but the far left protects
    their own.

Duncy you might enjoy Caracas they are writing numbers on peoples arms for food lines. In fact you need to go there full time.

  15. What? You aren't blocking comments? Wassamatta, losing too many of your fringies? Or did you think I'd gone away? Both, no doubt.

Your posts get more boring with each one. Good thing you have a die-hard following of obsessive types. Speaking of that, have you ever read Ducky's bio, where he says that one of his favorite pastimes is cheesing off the far right fringe? But you keep biting at the cheese, don't you?

I'm beginning to appreciate his sense of humor, considering what a total lack of one you have, Sam. Truth is, even though you think you make such clever snipes at Ducky, he's the one who's laughing.

You're an idiot, Sam. You have no social sense at all and you never got past the age of 5 emotionally. It not only shows in your pointless insults but also in your choice of them. When DID you quit wetting the bed, old man? It obviously embarrassed the hell out of you or you wouldn't consider that to be such a prime insult now.

Come on, don't be shy. Tell us when you quit wetting the bed.
