I believe all that may have bee...Thank you, Robert. I believe all that may have been ore the responsibility of the infamous "Brain Trust" than FDR, himself, who was, as far as I can tell, something of an intellectual lightweight.

What I do know fir sure is that my grandparents and ants and uncles who were still very much alive -- middle aged to be exact -- in that era hated FDR's guts. I hasten to add these were working people not members of the Idle Rich. They knew, however, which end was up. Immigrant grandparents were painfully aware the "dream" they had come here to pursue was being willfully destroyed.

One of my uncles, a "self-made man" who became a successful industrialist -- he had developed the process of color-plating aluminium, even though he'd never been able to finish high school -- and became a millionaire after starting out life as a "Butcher's Boy" at the age of nine. At any rate, he told me long ago that the Depression would have cleared itself up very nicely much more quickly than it did if it hadn't been for FDR's damnable interference in the affairs of business.

One of my other uncles got shot up in the war and spent two years in German POW camp. He never wanted to talk about it. A boyhood friend of my Dad's was not so lucky. He wound in a JAPANESE POW Camp, and witnessed unimaginable horrors.

So yeah, it makes me angry to realize all their suffering and sacrifice may have been for naught in the long run.

I wish you'd share more of what you've learned about FDR with us in some detail. He, more than any other, set into motion the Cold War. A revolution may have already occurred (again) in this country were it not for the fact that all these treasonable acts have been hidden from the American people.
