Video: Dog's Best Day - Caitlyn

(For today's political post, see my post today at Infidel Bloggers Alliance: The Islamic State — 21st Century Burke And Hare)

Enjoy this different kind of heartwarming Christmas story (hat tip to MFS-Viral Vids):

  1. What a good girl! I hope Caitlyn's abuser is put under the jail for what he did to this magnificent bundle of love.

Thanks for posting this. It made my day.

  2. There's a special place in Hell for people who abuse animals....

    1. I hope you're right. The creatures are even more innocent that small children and even less able to defend themselves. The ads from the Humane Society never fail to bring tears to my eyes, and make me very angry at the same time.

I have a friend who is very ill with cancer, but he takes time whenever he is able to visit the local dog pound to talk to and play with each of the animals, and bring them puppy biscuits. He adopted two, but can't possibly take on more.

He says it does him more good than it does the dogs.

I would go so far as to say the measure of a person's character and worth may best be known by how well he or she treats animals.

    1. Indeed, Ed! That is the most important part of the story. The cries for vengeance on the perpetrator may be morally justified, but they will do little good. With you I rejoice that the terrible story had such a happy ending.

The animals seems to find it easier to forgive and to be grateful than too many of us. Caitlyn has probably forgotten all about those who abused her. She seems so happy and healthy bounding around at play.

      God bless her rescuers!

      HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  4. What bothers me is what somebody who did that to a dog might do to another human being. Some people just need to be locked up and never let loose again.

Great post! Great video! Great dog!

  5. Great video! The best punishment would be to do the same to the perp.

  6. Thank you for that heartwarming story. Hard to believe someone could do that to a dog. I don't know how Caitlyn survived. How did she eat? Glad to see this story has a happy ending. So many more do not.

Kudos to my neighbors in Charleston!

And Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to all!

    1. Mike,
Anyone who would do something like this to a dog is twisted!
