Breivik Fallout?

(Note to readers: Please scroll down for my other post today)

Maybe I'm interpreting THIS incorrectly.

Maybe not.

The word "imminent" in the letter below doesn't make sense in the Breivik context, but perhaps the hotel decided not to risk slander by using that particular word.

Joe Biden's Brain: Confabulating Joe

As I've said before, Joe Biden has brain issues, including two brain surgeries for aneurysms in 1988. Just a few months ago, he welcomed Representative Gabrielle Giffords to the cracked head club upon to her return to Congress.

Simply put, Joe Biden confabulates. Psychiatric definition of the term:
to replace the gaps left by a disorder of the memory with imaginary remembered experiences consistently believed to be true.
Learn more about the fascinating phenomenon of confabulation at Wikipedia. Clearly, confabulation is often connected to wishful thinking and is not a deliberate lie in the strict sense of the word.

In Explanation Of My Recent Absence

In celebration of Mr. AOW's birthday on October 28 and to curb the boredom factor of his being disabled by a stroke two years ago, I got my beloved an iPad on October 17. Ever since that date, I've been practicing with the device and nagging my tech adviser "J.

Another steep learning curve for both Mr. AOW and me!

Woe Is Me!

(If you must have politics, please scroll down to the other post for today)

Sunday night, sometime during the darkness, somebody hit one of my cars, parked right here on the street where I live. Hit and run! No note!

The car, although some fifteen years old, WAS in pristine condition. I had it painted in 2009.

Now the side view mirror on the driver's side is hanging by the control cable.

Before I found the damage, the mirror had dangled over the side and put some scratches on the door. Now I have the mirror wrapped in a big sheet to prevent further damage.

"Red October" 2011

From this source:

In 1917 Russia’s “Red October” shook the world. [meaning of the phrase "Red October"]
In 2011, the US left plans to create their own “Red October” – the first shots of a major nationwide campaign to create chaos and a fear across America.

Communist Party USA leader Joe Sims writes in the latest People’s World:
Energized by President Obama’s bold call for passage of the American Jobs Act, civil rights and labor groups are calling for a national march in Washington, D.C., on October 15 to support it. The following day Obama will deliver remarks at the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial…
The Left's mask is coming off. They know that Obama has empowered them.

OUCH!

(If you must have politics, please scroll down)

The best laid plans of mice and men go awry when a tooth emits waves of torment.

Yesterday, I had an emergency appointment with my dentist. He ran all sorts of texts, including x-rays, and his best assessment at this point is that I'm so stressed out that I'm clenching and grinding my teeth while asleep and awake.

Stress does cause physical symptoms, including bruxism ("gnashing of teeth").
